Would who be brave enough to write poetry?
Not I.

Progress!

Well, I think my readership has dwindled with my posting frequency (hi Ahna!).
Update: I am putting together my thesis proposal now, as we speak. I have a synopsis, treatment, script, budget, and a plan- and a whole lot of bullshit mixed in between. I am scared I am struggling too much to make sense when I need to go further with my imagery and lack of sense.

The thing is I have two very seperate tasks:
Make a good little film
Graduate

For the latter I have to write a thesis that makes sense to a large number of people, while for the former I just have to be able to create what's in my head in front of the camera. Hopefully the two preocesses will inform each other.

I have been working for about 15 straight hours (commute, job, commute, yoga, dinner, thesis)...so I'm beat and am typing with eyes closed.

good night world.
send me inspiring dreams!

l'indispensable plan

My thesis proposal is slowly but surely coming together. I am trying to immerse myself in the writings of Julia Kristeva, who's apparent brillance is only marred by the sterotype that she is too "difficult" and "french". i'm a bit intimindated nonetheless.

La vida est bella.

Paris plans are well under way now that I have my official acceptance into the CSU program.

My short, "nest" won "best environmental drama" at the SF Woman's Film Festival, amusing given it was probably the only environmental drama. Don't quite have the same sensation as winning something competitive, but fun all the same.

I started my new job at big company. I have a photo badge that opens doors, just like I've always wanted. We filmmakers are always so isolated from the true corporate world that it gives me a sens of another life.

Kristeva says the foreigner is within us all.
